Unsaid Voices is a public archive, not a counseling service. To help keep this space safe and respectful, please keep a few things in mind:

  • Your voicemail may be selected for publication on our website and social media channels.
  • By leaving a message, you allow us to trim your recording for length or clarity. We keep the meaning intact.
  • Please avoid sharing personal information such as surnames, phone numbers, addresses, or anything that could identify another person.
  • We will not publish messages that contain threats, harassment, hate speech, or illegal content.

FAQ

Is it really anonymous?
Yes. No names are required. Before anything is published, we remove anything that could identify you, like surnames, phone numbers, or addresses. What remains is just the voice. To be safe, please leave identifying details out of your message.
Will my voicemail be published?
It may be selected for the monthly archive collection, published on our website and social media channels.
How long can my voicemail be?
Phone voicemail systems set their own limit, usually a few minutes. If you get cut off, call back and finish your message.
Can I have my voicemail removed?
Yes. Email unsaidvoicesarchive@gmail.com and it will be removed from the public archive.
Who listens to these?
Anyone who visits. Many listeners say a stranger's voicemail felt like it was left for them.
How are voicemails chosen?
Each month, we choose a small selection of clear, respectful messages that honor the spirit of this project. Not every voicemail is published.
